The Most Innovative Countries in The World

The latest survey from U.N about the ranks of the world most innovative nations has been showed on Thursday. The survey has presented that Switzerland has been successfully lead the wealthy Western countries and always becoming the topped of the list every year since 2011. This is an outstanding achievement for Switzerland as the gold medalist for this seven years running. Here are the list of the top 10 world’s most innovative country in the world.

The Global Innovation Index, WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) and two business schools - INSEAD and the SC Johnson College of Business mark those innovative countries based on 81 indicators. Those 81 indicators include political environment, education, infrastructure, and business sophistication. There are additional aspects that used for this year report which are innovation agricultural, food systems across sectors and geographic.
From those indicators, the dean of Cornell Business School can conclude that this is important to know the strength and the weakness of each country economy. For instance, India has been successfully rose six places to 60th in this year, since India taking a lesson seriously by creating their own state-level index to boost the competition investment and spur the innovation locally. However, India has a bad infrastructure and bureaucracy that influence to the bad economic track record. Not only that, China has shown their weakness spots contained with tertiary education, regulatory environment, creative media and protection of minority investors. Meanwhile, China maximize their performance at high-tech exports, industrial design, and business sophistication that can boost their economic industry. Therefore this research can create the international transparency to raise innovation among the countries in the world.
